Makes 2 large pizza bases
2 cups plain wholemeal flour
1 sachet of instant yeast
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
½ tablespoon oil
1 cup warm water
Combine all dry ingredients. Stir in oil. Add water gradually to form a dough. Remove from bowl and place on a floured surface and knead until dough is smooth and elastic.
Place in a microwave proof bowl. Place in microwave and microwave on low for 1 minute. Allow to stand for 10 minutes and repeat until dough has doubled in size. Alternatively set dough aside in a warm place covered with a teatowel until dough has risen.
Divide dough in half and roll out thinly on a floured surface. Your dough is now ready to be used. Place chosen pizza ingredients on top and bake until golden.
